Tom has bloged alloy again:
Playing Games
I’m sitting in our tour bus. It’s 3 a.m., and we are just on our way from Paris to Dijon! We played two nights in a row at Bercy (Paris) for 17,000 fans each night. It’s sooooo amazing to be on tour. We travel in our tour busses from city to city. After each show is over, we leave for the next city. In the morning we get up, get ready, do the sound check and some interviews — it’s pretty much the same every day.
How does the band spend their free time on tour? Find out!
Page 2: For our spare time, we brought table tennis and table soccer along with to have some fun stuff in our backstage area. You probably won’t be very surprised that I’m actually leading all scores. The others try pretty hard, but they don’t have the slightest chance — it’s the same story with women (LOL). Even though I am totally a night owl, I have to get going now! Take care, and I’ll talk to you soon!
– Tom.

Canadian interview about fans:
"If they write a letter – I think the longest now is 12 kilometres long, the fan letter," lead singer Bill Kaulitz says through an interpreter. "Or they buy us a star - you know, there is a star out in the universe being called Tokio Hotel. And then we had a redesigned car, one girl redesigned her car in the whole Tokio Hotel look and kept driving next to our tour bus."
With his long, spiky hair, heavy eye makeup, skinny jeans and tight t-shirts, 18-year-old Bill has cultivated his lean, androgynous look to perfection. He appeals to the kinds of girls who think Zac Efron is a little too butch.
His twin brother, Tom, seems to make a conscious effort to counteract Bill's ambiguous sexuality by dressing in baggy clothing, covering his dreadlocks with a baseball cap and constantly carrying himself with an overconfident swagger. While Bill does most of the talking, Tom does pipe up every once in a while to tease his band mates and reassert his masculinity.
"I could add a couple of [crazy fan] stories from my hotel room," he interrupts. "But it would take ages and we would probably need another interview for that."
Tom appeals to the kinds of girls who think Fred Durst is too sensitive.
The brothers teamed up with bassist Georg Listing and drummer Gustav Schafer to form Tokio Hotel in 2001. Although it took the band four years to hit it big in Germany, they were still only in their mid-teens when their debut album, Schrei, went platinum, turning Tokio Hotel into rock stars at a young age. After conquering European music charts many times over, Tokio Hotel is set to release Scream, their first English album, in Canada on March 25.
"Tom and me, we were 15 when we broke in Germany and since then we are constantly on the road," says Bill. "It was what we always wanted to do and it was a clearly-made decision. Experiencing all of this, sitting here today in Toronto, giving interviews, playing shows over here in Canada, that was nothing we ever expected, all that we thought would happen."
Translating their songs into English was one of Tokio Hotel's biggest hurdles with Scream because, while they can understand English surprisingly well, speaking it is another matter. Bill spent many hours in the studio going over lyrics to make sure none of the songs' meanings got lost in translation.
"It wasn't easy because if you compare the languages to each other, obviously in German you work with different pictures, different sentences. Not every word is found in the English language," he explains. "We really wanted to go for a one-to-one translation, so that really took some time. Then I went into the studio and that took some time as well because I really wanted to sound native. I really wanted to sound as perfect as possible."
"Yeah, but things take a long time for Bill anyway," adds Tom, having gone more than five minutes without teasing his brother. "If he sings in German or if he sings in English, he always needs time. And he's not good at hitting the right tone; that takes time as well."
Bill is clearly used to his brother's haughty posturing. "Yeah, whatever," is all he mutters as he rolls his eyes.
Staying together for seven years is a remarkable feat for any band, but especially for a group who were going through puberty at the same time. But even though the members of Tokio Hotel obviously get on each others' nerves occasionally, Bill admits that they're better off together than apart.
"There are times when we annoy each other and get on each others' nerves and everybody needs to get out, have his own space, time for himself and stuff like this," he says. "But the good thing is that we know each other very well. We've been together for seven years. We know each as well as you actually could; everything. That really helps us. I think, actually, it brings us closer together. It just makes us stronger going through [this] with each other and it's actually that we can't live without each other anymore."
Unsurprisingly, Tom is unwilling to let the interview end on such a sentimental note.
"Actually, Bill especially can't live without me," he says with his trademark mischievous grin. "And the others as well, they can't live without me. Talking about me, I'm more, like, in the father role of this whole family trip, you know. They really all depend on me."
Bill rolls his eyes again, but he can't stop himself from smiling back at Tom. The Gallagher brothers should take lessons from these two.

Swedish interview:
Rob a bank;
Bill:
We would all do that together. Ha ha, the big score.

Get the Nobel prize:
Georg:
If it would be the Nobel prize in patience then it would definitely be me.
Bill:
But if it would be the Nobel prize in sexyness, then it would be me.

Burn the dinner:
Tom:
All of us! We can not cook at all.
Bill:
We can´t even fry an egg.

Get married to Britney Spears:
All:
Me!
Bill:
But if that meant that we had to have sex with her then none of us would do it.

Direct a horror movie:
Bill:
Me. I love vampires so I would definitely have a talent for it.

Run away with a circus:
Georg:
I believe Gustav would do that.
Bill:
But if you only look at the clothes then it would be me.

Can you describe the perfect date?
Bill:
Im not really the right person to ask, I don´t really like those situations. It feels weird when you plan such things in detail. I´d like to just meet someone spontaneously.
Georg:
To take the car and drive out in the woods.
Tom:
My perfect date is in any hotelroom.

What is the most romantic thing you have ever done for a girl?
Georg:
I just recently drove out in the woods with a girl.
Bill:
I organized a pic-nic for a girl once.
Tom:
I waited to have sex!

Do you like flowers and candles?
Tom:
Flowers are alright, but I rather want it dark.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
Bill:
Yes, definitely! But you have to be careful with true love, cause it´s really hard to find. A lot of people are lucky, others are not. I believe you can find your true love only once. A lot of people are in love and together, but there is only one true love.
Tom:
I don´t believe in that at all.
Georg:
Maybe.
Gustav:
I don´t know. I think you should just take it easy and see what happens with the relationship..

Bill has blogged on Alloy.com again! :
"Hi everyone, it’s Bill from Tokio Hotel again.
We just started our third European tour yesterday in Brussels. We didn’t have too much time for tour rehearsals, and the brand new stage only got its final touches at the very last minute — the schedule was tight! Anyway, on Sunday morning, we were picked up at 7
by our tour buses… YES! FINALLY, I thought, LET’S GO TO Brussels!! This is the first tour that we’ve had two busses — Gustav and Georg share one, and so do Tom and I!
When we got to the venue on Monday, we saw our stage for the very first time — it’s amazing. After checking it out down to the last light bulb and wire, we did our first show run on our stage! The whole show is set up in a new way so everything is pretty unfamiliar, which is why we almost went insane by the time we had to perform. The other three guys and I thought about everything that could go wrong and everything we could possibly forget. But once we were on stage, it worked out great, and now we are happy.
Today, we performed in Rotterdam, but we’ll tell you more next time — take care!
– Bill"

Gustav has two tattoos now.

Bill and Tom made their
Realschulabschluss (not enough for studying but you can learn jobs for which you don't have to study) with 1.8, thats a really good mark in Germany (0,9 is the best and 6 the worst). They wrote five 2 and one 1. They made it at a distance learning school
They talked about it in the german magazine BRAVO:

Bravo:
Congratulations! Are you happy to be done with school?
Bill:
Oh yeah! We are really happy, that this chapter finally lies behind us. Tom and I immediately ripped all books and folders and burnt them...

Bravo:
How did you manage to get good grades despite the stress?
Tom:
At first: it was horrible for us!
Bill:
We also didn't believe in it. Often we were close to saying: screw it! School wasn't obligatory for us anymore, when we turned 18 we could've stopped. But we are perfectionists and didn't wat to leave it untried. So we slept even less and worked even more.
Tom:
In the week before the final exam we were studying twelve hours a day – for seven days!
Bill:
And in that week Georg and Gustav had free time, completely. FREE TIME! We don't know that word.

Bravo:
You were at a distance learning school. How did that work?
Bill:
The materials were sent to our house. We had to work through it and the send it back.
Tom:
We could arrange the time freely – that was good. But we had to return it handwritten. Cheating was not possible because of that...

Bravo:
Also not at the final exams?
Bill:
Noo! Tom and I were sitting in our room with the examiner. He could stare at our sheets the whole time...
Tom:
Apart from that, we were sitting too far apart, to copy. When we had been going to normal school, we always did that. We shared the learning parts.

Bravo:
Both of you are afraid of exams, right?
Bill:
A lot! We could barely sleep the whole week before it. Tom and I were so excited/nervous! We had been studying until late at night and woke up at 6 in the morning again.
Tom:
I always feel sick before exams, as if I had to puke. Luckily that has never happened.

Bravo:
Were you afraid a bit, that the teachers could be mean to you, because you are the boys from TH?
Bill:
Sure. We didn't know if they had prejudices and thought things like: Those stars think they'll get their degree as a present.
Tom:
But we had to take the same exam as all other students and couldn't cheat. Maybe they read our tests twice, just in case!

Bravo:
Before you've always had trouble with the teachers. What was it like now?
Bill:
This time the teachers were nice to us.
Tom:
But I don't like teachers in general. We saw ours only very seldomly. But if we had seen them daily, we sure would have had trouble with them.

Bravo:
Which subjects did you like the most?
Tom:
(laughs loudly) All were horrible! Those were the worst weeks in our lives

Bravo:
Does that mean, no more school, ever?
Tom:
Let's say: Biology will still be present in my life!
Bill:
The band stands in the first place now. But we made this degree, so we know we can still make our Abitur!
Tom:
But we're not planning that in the close future.

Bravo:
Why are your grades actually exactly the same?
Bill:
That is the twins-thing again. We laughed when we saw that.

Bravo:
What's next?
Bill:
Our Europe tour starts now, with a completely new stage. After that we're going to the USA. We only have one day off in between...
